Road Trip!

So we decided to go on a little road trip to Hailey, Idaho to visit our best friends the Smarts!  It is only a 5 hour drive, which is much better than 12 from Denver!!  We had a great time with them and had so much fun just hanging out.  My favorite part was riding their cruiser bikes, I felt like such an dork, but it was fun.  here are some pictures of the trip!

I know I look like such a dork in the picture, but I just had to post it for the love of Hollie!

We went to a little park with a ground water fountain, the kids had so much fun running around and getting wet!

Rock on Kassa! We're really glad you came too! A couple of unforgettable moments: Daniel and I almost being attacked by a porcupine on our hike and the fact that Hollie and Daniel both had injuries from playing Wii all night. Those two must be getting old!

I'm glad you guys got to see the cute little Smart family. That will be so nice for you to be so much closer to them now. Hollie told me about those bikes. You guys look so cute on them. And I'm glad everything with your move went well.

Travis didn't mention that it wasn't just any porcupine - it was huge!

Another highlight was the night we got there. The kids were asleep and Hollie and Kassiah were setting up the bed for the kids. Travis went to the van and took David (who was sleeping) out of his seat and carried him to the room. I was gathering up our bags. Well, David must not have realized it was Travis holding him, because when I entered into the room he just looked at me really weird, and then looked at who was holding him and realized it was Travis. The expressions on his face were classic. He is such a cute guy!

Thanks fo having us Travis and Hollie!
