Parent Survey

Sebs had a survey that he brought home that the parents were suppose to fill out.  He forgot to tell us and had to turn it in, so he thought he would fill it out himself!  It is the cutest thing I have ever read, here it is!

1.  Now we are at the end of the year, how do you feel about your child as a reader now?

Sebs wrote- He is a good readar.

2.  What area have you really seen your child grow?

Sebs wrote- The day befor yesterday.

3.  What would you have like to seen more of in the classroom or as me as a  teacher? 

Sebs wrote-  See you as a teacher.

4.  What would you like more support in?

Sebs wrote- I want more grades.

Daniel and I read this and were just laughing how cute he was.  I love the num. 2 answer the best!!!  It is great!  These are the pluses of have kids, laughter!

The meanest mom ever!

Funny story.  Tonight I was having a hard time with Sebs, he kept back talking and not doing what I was asking him to do.  So, I sent him to his room until bed time.  Well, he was not happy about that.  He started yelling stuff and the one thing that I caught was, "I like daddy better than you!"  and " When I am a dad I am going to be a nicer dad than you are a mom!"  Ouch.  That hurt, but it was kinda entertaining at the same time also.  He later apologized and said he was sorry and that he was being naughty, so that was nice.  But that is my fun story of the day.  It has been happening a lot lately with daddy working so much, I am being a mean mommy when I am the one putting the foot down all day and night.  What can you do?  I love being a mean mom!!:)

Craft Time!

Okay, so Daniel is working alot lately and I have been home alone with the kids.  I find myself going a little crazy durning the evening time before bed so I decided to do craft time!!!  We all water colored pictures, and it was quite fun!  Maybe we will fingerpaint next, hummmm.  Such important decisions!

The last two years we went to Lake Seminoe with the Smarts.   It was suppose to be a yearly vacation together, but that all got axed when they decided to move!:(  I thought I would post some pictures from that trip since they are some of my favorite ones!  We miss you guys!!
