Road Trip!

So we decided to go on a little road trip to Hailey, Idaho to visit our best friends the Smarts!  It is only a 5 hour drive, which is much better than 12 from Denver!!  We had a great time with them and had so much fun just hanging out.  My favorite part was riding their cruiser bikes, I felt like such an dork, but it was fun.  here are some pictures of the trip!

We have been majorly putting off getting David a big bike with training wheels!  So we finally did it and he loves it so much!  He is out there every day practicing, I think those training wheels are going to come off alot sooner than we think!

We Made It!

Hello everyone!  I just wanted to post that we made it safely to Helena!  The moving van comes tomorrow morning and the fun begins!  I want to thank everyone for all of the love and support they have given us this last couple of weeks with the move.  We couldn't have done it without you all!!  We will miss you all so much!!!  I hope everyone keeps in touch.  Our cell #s are the same and of course my blog.  I will be updating email address as soon as I can!  Til next time.......

Paint H E double hockey sticks!

Please excuse the title, but that I what I have been in!  So I was thinking I would be all good to go around my house and fill in all of the holes from the pictures on the walls and touch up the paint, right?  Should be easy, right??  So I go around my ENTIRE first floor and do this, I wait for the paint to dry, and it is not looking like it is blending too well, so maybe it just needs to dry for longer, right???  Oh, NO.  I guess paint fades, which no one told me!  So now I have have these blotch marks of darker paint all over my walls, on the first floor.  So what do I have to do you ask??  I have to re-paint my whole first floor, in 4 days!  Impossible you say?  Well, I am happy, and very tired and sore to say, I did it!  All I gotta say is whoever rents this place better not complain about the paint, or else they are evicted!  I am happily going to get a full body massage tomorrow, well deserved I think.  Just a day before the movers come and I have all new stresses to worry about!!

Our last Moab trip!

Labor Day weekend, we decided last minute to cancel our camping trip with our wonderful friends the Smarts:(, and head to Moab for the last time, for at least two years.  My parents are leaving on a mission, my oldest brother and family are moving back to Tokyo, and my other brother is packing up his family in an RV and traveling the country for a year or so until they find a place they want to live!!  And we, of course, are on our way to Montana!!  So we all met there for the weekend and had a great time doing all of the Moab things!!  Here are some of the pictures.  This first one is of my mom and dad with all of their grandkids!

Our new home

Here are a few of the pictures that I took of our soon to be home in Helena.  It is a brand new duplex, as big as our house which is great.  It is in a new development called Nob Hill.  We hope we will like it!:)
